Are the number plates pre-drilled?
No, we don’t pre-drilled holes on any of our number plates. This is because the holes required vary significantly depending on the manufacturer and model of your vehicle.
How do I fix my number plates to my vehicle?
The easiest way to attach your new number plates to your vehicle is using adhesive sticky pads as they don’t require drilling holes. However, some of our customers do prefer to use screws to attach the plates for that extra peace of mind. Please note we do not accept liability for drilled plates.
Can I print my business logo onto my number plates?
Yes, we offer fully customised number plates! We print in many colours, and fonts and can add your logo by using a lipped plate. Simply send us your artwork and one of our design team will be in touch.
Do you offer any discounts for regular, trade, or bulk orders?

What documentation is required?
Plate Doctor is proudly a DVLA registered number plate supplier which means we will need you to supply documents to prove your identity and that you can use the registration number. But don’t worry we make this quick and easy as possible for you.
Are you able to make the old black/silver number plates?
Only UK vehicles made before 1973 are permitted to use black/silver number plates. If this does apply to your vehicle, please call us directly to order your plates. You can contact us at 0113 880 0338 during office hours.
Will the number plates include legal markings?
Yes. To meet all UK laws our road legal plates include legal markings. The markings are very small (approximately 2.5mm high) and do not interfere with the plate design.
Can I cancel or amend an order?
In most cases, we start the print process for an order as soon as it is placed, which means it might not be possible to cancel your order. However, if you do need to cancel or change your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to make the changes.
How long does delivery take?
Orders placed before 2 pm (Monday to Friday) will be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 2 pm will be dispatched the following working day. Orders placed over the weekend will be dispatched on the following Monday. We offer two postage options:
Standard delivery: arrival within 3 working days of dispatch.
First class delivery: 99% of deliveries will arrive the next day. However, we cannot offer guaranteed delivery.
Please note that once orders have been dispatched, they are out of our hands and any delays are the responsibility of the courier.
